Vid Djúpid Music Festival 2008
Tinna and violinist Una Sveinbjanardóttir will perform at the annual music festival Vid Djúpid in Iceland this summer. Program: Sonata by jazz pianist Keith Jarrett for violin and piano, which will have an Icelandic premiere here, Recitativo e Arioso by Witold Lutoslawski for violin and piano and Meditation by Karólína Eiríksdóttir for violin. This concert is part of the lunch recital series on the 23rd of June in Edinborgarhús in Ísafjördur at 12.10 pm

Njúton - Indigenous Music
Njúton gives a second concert on the 8th of June in Fríkirkjan in Reykjavík at 8 pm, which is dedicated to the memory of composer Stephen Lucky Mosko. He first visited Iceland in the early seventies, was very interested in the musical heritage of Iceland and studied it extensively. As a faculty member of CalArts for many years he influenced numbers of students with his works and teaching, including Icelandic composers Hilmar Thórdarson and Kolbeinn Einarsson. The program of this concert consists of his large scale chamber work Indigenous Music II, from 1984. Also: Sononymus for piano - carved in stone by Hilmar Thórdarson, 18 V (premiere) for flute and piano by Kolbeinn Einarsson and Fluff and Drama by Atli Heimir Sveinsson, which was originally composed for the California EAR Unit

Constitution of Iceland
Music to the Icelandic Constitution will be premiered at Ketilhúsiđ in Akureyri on March 15th at 2 pm. This is a joint production of the visual art duo Libia Castro and Ólafur Ólafsson and composer Karólína Eiríksdóttir. The piece is scored for soprano, baritone, piano, double bass and mixed choir and will be premiered by soprano Ingibjörg Guđjónsdóttir, baritone Bergţór Pálsson, pianist Tinna Ţorsteinsdóttir, bass player Gunnlaugur Torfi Stefánsson and the chamber choir Hymnódía directed by Eyţór Ingi Jónsson. The performance is a part of the art exhibition Bye-bye Iceland, which opens the same day at the Akureyri Art Museum.

Tinna´s first solo CD release
Tinna´s first solo CD, Granit Games, will be released on December 13th 2007 by Bad Taste ltd. containing Icelandic pianomusic - from the folksongs to the laptop. All pieces except Leifs's, were written for Tinna and most of them premiered at the Dark Music Days festival in Iceland in 2005. Pieces by Mist Thorkelsdóttir, Kolbeinn Einarsson, Jón Leifs, Hilmar Thórdarson, Thorsteinn Hauksson, Áskell Másson and Steingrímur Rohloff. Three pieces involve computer sounds. These are first recordings, except for Four Pieces, op. 2 by Jón Leifs, and were recorded some days in August 2006 by Sveinn Kjartansson

Solo recital at the Bergen International Festival 2006, Norway, in the concert series Young Talents. The program spans the period from Edvard Grieg's Lyric Pieces and piano music of Icelandic composer Jón Leifs to modern Icelandic piano works, some of which contain electronics.
